Our Values
Liverpool Street Capital Advisors was created to meet the need for high quality debt, equity and financial restructuring advice. We are a pure-play financing advisor, free from conflicts of interest. Our team seek to select the best elements from multiple financing techniques in order to create bespoke solutions, applying our world class experience to help our clients succeed. We believe this approach is unique in the corporate advisory and financial restructuring markets and we like to call this Unconventional wisdom.
As well as having long careers in financing markets as lenders, investors and advisors, our senior team have been borrowers and regular buyers of advisory services. This experience has helped sharpen the advisory offering we provide. Our experience is that the best advisors are a trusted extension of the client’s executive team and invest in long term relationships with their clients. We aim to achieve this by becoming integral to our clients’ strategic goals and being available 24/7.
About Us
Financing markets have changed dramatically over the past 20 years and regular new market entrants continue to mean this change remains in its infancy. This trend is no longer ‘high finance’; it is relevant to companies of all sizes, in all sectors, across UK plc and, increasingly, across international borders.
As well as providing our clients with access to the public financing markets, we also connect our clients to the clearing banks, challenger banks, fintechs, investment funds, family offices and niche financing providers which are playing an increasingly important role in financing business.
Our senior team has deep experience in developed economies and emerging markets across all major asset classes in both public financing markets (capital markets) and private markets (bank and non-bank). Our team members have acted on more than 190 mandates, involving finance totalling in excess of GBP43.0Bn. They have experience sitting on all sides of the table, having been lenders, investors, borrowers and advisors, giving them a unique perspective on financing negotiations, whether for growth or financial restructuring.

Does Liverpool Street have a sector focus?
We are sector agnostic and our senior team members have worked on financing transactions in all sectors during their 165 years’ combined experience.
Are senior team members involved in delivering the advice?
Liverpool Street’s model is a partner-led model. Our senior team members are in the room with you throughout your transaction.
Does Liverpool Street act for smaller companies?
Our senior team members have experience in smaller, highly entrepreneurial and fast paced companies as well as experience in world-class, blue chip companies.
Does Liverpool Street advise on technical, legal or tax matters?
We are a debt advisory and financial structuring firm. However, our senior team have worked closely with other top-tier advisors over many years and can introduce other advisors as needed.
Does Liverpool Street have a minimum or maximum deal size?
We do not set a minimum or maximum deal size. We agree to act where we believe we can add value to our clients.
Do you assist in situations where there is distress?
Liverpool Street acts for both growing companies and companies experiencing financial pressure. Our mix of work is driven by the economic and / or credit cycle.
Can Liverpool Street assist with hedging solutions?
Our advisors assist clients to assess exposures to rates, currencies and commodities and we introduce brokers and / or traders to hedge these exposures.
Does Liverpool Street act only on finance raising transactions?
The majority of our mandates involve raising money from the markets. We are occasionally asked to develop strategic financing plans, which may or may not lead to a subsequent financing transaction.
